Half Broke Horses: A True-Life Novel by Jeannette Walls
My rating: 4 of 5 stars I really enjoyed this book. It was kind of a prequel to Walls' "The Glass Castle". The book was written from her Grandmother's perspective who was a woman with a very interesting life and an entertaining character. I enjoyed the first book which is what inspired me to pick up this one and I'm glad I did because it was a fast and enjoyable read.

[Dec. 6th, 2009|07:23 pm] |
It was a full weekend and I'm not ready for it to be over, but I'm feeling pretty good about all that I got accomplished: Laundry Christmas Baking Christmas Cards (although I am only sending a few) Shopped For New Mattress Entertained some friends for lunch Rode Tucker Twice Barn Chores Read Saw Lippizzaner Stallion Show
There may have been more but that is all I can remember right now. I'm ready for a night on the couch with a little TV. |
